Nail painting parties for kids, at your place.

Shayne brings a little pop-up nail salon to birthdays and events: cushions, mirrors, a shelf of kid-friendly colours and a very steady hand. Every guest goes home with sparkly nails.

How a party works.

  1. Tell us about it

The date, where it is and how many little guests. Shayne gets back to you to confirm the date and the plan.

  2. We set up the salon

Shayne arrives half an hour early and turns a corner of your home into a pop-up nail salon.

  3. Pick, paint, sparkle

Each guest chooses their colours from the shelf. Fingers first, then sparkle toppers and nail art.

  4. We pack it all away

While nails dry and everyone dives into the cake, Shayne packs up. All you’re left with is happy kids.

Shayne’s nail kit laid out on a white towel: a pink caddy of polish, nail files, cotton rounds in a jar, clean bowls and hand sanitiser.

Made for little nails.

Kids’ nails are thinner and softer than ours, and kids put their fingers in their mouths. Everything we use and do is chosen with that in mind.

  • Kid-friendly polishWater-based, low-odour polishes made for children. No gels, no acrylics, no harsh removers.
  • A clean kit for every guestTools are cleaned between guests, and every child gets their own nail file to take home.
  • Allergies checked firstWe ask about allergies and sensitive skin when you book, and leave out anything that isn’t right for your child.
  • Nothing sharp, nothing rushedNo cutting cuticles, no clippers near little fingers. Just gentle filing and lots of patience.

For the birthday child who wants to feel fancy, the friends who’ve never sat in a salon chair, and the parent who’d love a party that tidies up after itself.

Pamper parties suit kids from about four to twelve, and they work just as well for a small group of best friends as for the whole class.

Questions parents ask.

What ages are the parties for?

Mostly 4 to 12. Younger brothers and sisters can usually have a single colour if a grown-up is happy for them to.

Is the polish safe for children?

We use water-based, low-odour polishes made for kids. No gels, no acrylics and no harsh removers. If your child has allergies or sensitive skin, tell us when you book.

How much room do you need?

A table and somewhere for the kids to sit. Shayne brings everything else: cushions, mirrors, towels and the whole shelf of colours.

How long do the nails take to dry?

Around ten minutes for kids’ polish. That’s usually perfect timing for cake.

Where do you travel?

Homes, halls and venues around Central Otago. Further afield is fine too; we’ll add a small travel fee and tell you what it is before you book.

Got a birthday coming up?

Tell Shayne the date and how many little guests, and she’ll come back to you with a plan and a price.
